Nemanja Vidic's agent believes the defender could be sidelined for several months after suffering medial ligament damage during Manchester United's Champions League defeat to Basel.
United, who were dumped out of the Champions League following the loss in Switzerland, have yet to officially confirm the extent of the Serbia international's injury after he left the stadium on crutches on Wednesday evening.
Vidic's representative, Silvano Martina, has conceded his client is likely to face a lengthy spell on the treatment table and has maintained any transfer speculation involving Juventus before the 30-year-old's injury was fabricated.
"The interest of Juventus? It seems to me out of place to talk about it, after the injury to the cruciate ligament yesterday," Martina told calciomercato.com.
"He'll be out of action for several months, so even if it were true, now it would have no sense to talk about it.
"In any case, there never was anything concrete, but the media sometimes don't know what to write.
"Interest from other clubs? In the market a club comes forward for a player when they know that something is broken between him and his current side."
